Development and Evaluation of a Mobile-Learning Application Based on the Felder-Silverman Learning Styles Model

Every student has a different learning style. Not all of these styles can be facilitated through classroom learning. Mobile (m-learning) is the use mobile technology to support activities and facilitate variety styles. However, no previous studies development m-learning products have tested possibility facilitating within single M-learning application. This study describes evaluation an adaptive application that needs students. The Felder-Silverman Learning Style Model was used as reference for prototype developed using user-centered design method, which includes user analysis, interaction design, development, usability testing. designers followed best practices laid out in Shneiderman's Eight Golden Rules Interface Design Gagné’s Nine Events Instruction. A test involving ten participants. Usability testing carried by conducting filling System Scale (SUS) questionnaire result found it had good usability.
